What this means

Alignment. DMARC doesn't just ask “did SPF/DKIM pass” — it asks “did they pass for the SAME domain the human sees in the From: line”. A newsletter tool signing as itself (not as you) passes DKIM but fails alignment.

How to fix it

Step 1. Set up a branded/custom sending domain inside each tool so it signs as your domain.
Step 2. For SPF alignment, the Return-Path domain must match your From domain — most ESPs offer a custom Return-Path (CNAME).
Step 3. Re-check with a fresh report after 24–48h.
